Shop that rebuilds S2K transmissions?

Default Shop that rebuilds S2K transmissions?

Does anyone know of a good place in the San Francisco Bay area that can rebuild an S2K transmission that has been removed from the car?

what happened to your tranny that needs to be rebuilt?
i got a quote for rebuilding the tranny...it was like 2500 for a full rebuilt...new gears and synchros n shit...i ended up buying a used tranny...$1000 usd....plus shipping...but the tranny only had 7000km on it....tranny came off a stolen vehicle so it was really cheap

I lost 5th gfar the last time I tracked the car. It had been slowly getting harder and harder to get into 5th the last three times I was at the track.
