The Shifter on the S2000 IMHO is Awesome. Is there room for improvement?
Distinto Bellezza must think so. Here is a picture of the product. I don't read Japanese so I am not sure what is said about it.

The link to the web page is:

AaronS2k;it reduce shifther throwing(spelling?)30%.
Fit only RHD cars.
We ask them to have one made for LHD cars;they are thinking about it.

I can't understand why there would be any difference in the gear levers for LHD and RHD vehicles - as far as I can tell they are identical.

P.S. I have had vehicles (Mustang/Firebird) converted from LHD to RHD and the shifter was one thing that was not necessary to be changed.

Shifter does have a kink at the top. Maybe they kink it the other way for RHD. Suppose you could go with the wrong kink if you wanted.

Aaron S2K, you are correct, the short shifter changes the leverage point. To counter the increased effort, I believe also that the manufacturers also make the shaft thicker/heavier to allow a greater level of inertia on the shifter.

With B&M's case anyway, they usually use all nylon and aluminum fittings rather than rubber/steel of many stock shifters.

The S2K is one of the best shifting trannies out. It's already short. Why would you want to mess with it?
