Default Should i Sell?

Sup everyone, i recently crashed my 2001 S2000 into a guard rail after losing control in the rain. I was even trying to drive cautiously Anyway the mechanic says i broke my rear axle (back driver's side of car is where i hit the guard rail). The car is still in the shop and i hope to get it back by end of next week. However i was wondering what kind of ride to expect from the car when i get it back and if i should consider selling this car, because many people (aside from the insurance agent and the mechanic) have claimed it will never be the same. Sorry i cant provide more details as to what i had fixed but i kno the suspension need to be replaced on the drivers side and there is no structural damage to the frame. (and if you havent figured out by my description i dont Sh*t bout the technical parts of cars.) Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated!! Thanks ROB

Well first sorry to hear about your crash but your ok and that's a good thing. As far as the car well I believe that old saying as well it's never gonna be the same, so it really comes down to your decision.
But in the mean-time stay healthy

It all depends on the quality of work that is done. The best answer is to wait and see. It should be an easy decision after you get the car back.

It's definitely hard to say. I had a pretty bad accident shortly after I got my car, but the frame was straight and all of the damage (except for the body damage) resulted in clean breaks. The broken parts were replaced and "Voila!" it was as good as new.
If you have a bent frame or little things that you don't immediately notice, then there could be lasting effects... but if you use a good, reputable shop for the repairs, then you should be able to keep the car with no worries.

After you drive it next week you'll know if you should sell it or keep it. Like others have said it depends on the quality of the repair.

Sell it and buy an Accord or a Civic.

Honda didn't make the S2000 for people who "don't know Sh*t" about the car.

Be nice.

Hey Rob, sorry to hear about your accident. I've done the same thing, but it wasn't in the rain and i didn't do insurance claim. hehe... At the age of 19 i didn't want my insurance any higher.

After i got my car back it rides just as the way it was. I guess it depends how bad the impact was. I took my car to a very well known frame shop and they fabricated what they needed to; also included the rear passenger knuckle, control arm, and some weird long looking thingy.

i was gonna say i have another rear passenger lower control arm i can get you, so you can save money, but your hit was on the driver side....

If they can allign frame back up and the wheel alignment is good, then keep the car.

Goodluck with the car.
