Default should i trade in for an S? (ap1)

ok i know that the ap2 may... produce a little more power but i like the ap1 with the 9k redline. You can always add power.
I have an 04' G35 coupe 5at i love the luxury/sport of this thing but when you drive no one can really see the luxury inside b/c its not convertible.
I am waiting for a car transfer and the s2k is comming in next week.
Some people say how my G is so clean and they like it better. And they are always saying " why are you trading it in for a honda?" I'll smack a B**ch. they don't know the true power in s2k's.

My brother has an 05 6spd accord and that thing keeps up with the G. I know he doesn't want me to get the s2k because he doesn't wanna get pawned by a 4 bannger

Am i wrong for Sacirficing a little luxury for more sport? Since you guys own s2k's i want your imput on this..... o yeah and i'm bout to buy a 03 silver s.

thx tell me what you guys think!!!!

Obviously, most of the members of this board'll want you to get an S2000 of you ask them.

Personally, I do too.

About the only cars you could buy where the members here wouldn't rather see you buy an S2000 would be cars so expensive and exotic that you could probably afford to buy an S2000 as an afterthought.

I'd say the one thing to keep in mind is that these are two very different cars. Both are great cars in their own way, but if you're used to the luxury/refined finish of the G35, the S2k will feel downright primative.

That's what I love about the S. It's a true "drivers car". When you sit in it, every control is within a fingertips reach of the wheel. You truly feel the road, (and every bump as well). If you truly love to drive, and can live with the noise/stiff suspension, there is truly nothing like it.

There is NOTHING like putting the top down on a beautiful spring day, and winding it up to 9k rpm. I consider my car my therepist. After a terrible day at the office, I can hop in and the stress of the day melts away as I wind through the gears. I don't think there's a car on the market today that has such a high smiles/$ ratio.

That said, if you do a lot of interstate driving, you may tire of the small size and noise, especially coming from a luxury-coupe like the G35. However, don't listen to what people say, get what makes you happy to drive, you're the one who has to live with it!

I considered the G35 when right before I purchased the S2k. The test drive was the main deciding factor. The G35 is a great car, but is no where near as sporty as the S2k. When my cousin comes over (G35 owner) he likes to drive my car around because its just more fun. He is currently looking to sell the G35.

One more thing to consider. Is the s2k going to be your only car? Some people cannot tolerate it as thier daily driver. I would own a G35 or a BMW if I only had 1 car.
