Please excuse me if this should be on the tire and wheels forum, but I thought I could get more replies here.
My current tires are 255/35R18 and I just wanted to know if I should switch to my OEM wheels for an upcoming drag racing event.
I mean, the OEM tires are 245 so I would have less contact with the road, but the overall tire diameter is smaller so that should help.
What would you guys do? Should I stick to the 255's for traction or use OEM?
You will hate your time slips with 18" wheels
Use your 16" 245s run them at 28 pounds or so and DO NOT DO A BURNOUT before your launch or you will be looking for one of these
Let the clutch slip a bit and have safe fun the S2000 in basic stock form will do a 13.6 to 14.** depending on driver skill
