No torque? How much is enough? I wouldn't say the s2k is very fast, it can be fast, depending on the driver.
Shifting to the right gear, revving to the appropriate rpm, not everyone will have the reponse quick enough to handle the car to match different situations. That is also a driving skill. Driving the s2k is a sport, and definitely a pure pleasure.
Damn right it's a Honda, I wouldn't buy it if it wasn't made by Honda.
Someone who doesn't know how to appreciate the s2k, that person is just not a car fan.

2 cents: NO car is perfect! No car caters to everyones taste/ needs, but at least I have the one car that caters to MY taste!

These people only care about speed and less about cars. If all you wanted to do was go fast, then just get a motorcycle. Talk about speed to cost ratio. Yeah, it would be a rip off to pay $90k for ONLY the NSX's speed and power, but damn, all aluminum construction, hand built, etc. That's what you're paying for. The refinement and engineering. Its just like the civic guys with engine swaps, turbos, nos, etc. claiming they can smoke the S, or a porsche or whatever...SO WHAT???? YOu can strap a rocket to your car and fly it to the moon...but what does that prove? That its a nice car, better than any $100k+ exotic?

Stupidity is contagious. My grandparents own an Avalon, but that is of no relevence to the performance of a MR-S. You CAN NOT have sex in the S. Unless she was just the skinniest little girl...IT DOES NOT WORK (especially "redlining in 4th gear").

Just read some of the post, and have to agree, those guys are first rate idiots! I didn't know 5yr olds were allowed to drive, let alone play on the internet. I test drove both the boxter and the S and the boxter was a slug by compare. It's pretty clear those guys have driven either. BTW, just to demonstrate the intelligence level between the two boards, check the f-bomb to intelligent remark ratio.
