Shut down shakes
You can make it shake on purpose....kinda like letting the clutch ease out in 1st gear to about stalling out. The RPM gets so low the car shakes. Same thing when you cut the car off, but much quicker so you don't feel it shake as much.

Just consulted my Treo. Looks like I'm not scheduled to be in Chapel Hill until 2013. By that time, both the S2 and I will probably have the shakes.

I don't mind the shake when shutting down, but i hate the fact i have slip the clutch a little to avoid the shake/rattle when moving away from standstill. I presume it's the clutch that shakes, not the gearbox. Can someone explain?
