I've seen worse. I saw it twice - once ni Kemah, another at Galveston - and it was freakin' hideous. It was purple front half, and yellow back half; the purple would blend into the yellow by 3 diagonal, tapering stripes that started from the front wheel wells and pointed diagonally upwards to the right, just over the rear wheel well. And to top it off it had blue wheels and single exhaust in an aftermarket rear bumper designed for dual tips.
I've seen it, alex!!! It really is hideous. I have seen it driving down Montrose before, and once around the Rice area...I was not in my S, but I wish I would have been. FUGLY is not a strong enough word for it.

Actually, the car I was describing is not actually GalvestonVTEC's car. I was asking him if he has seen that car because I saw it in Galveston, and obviously, he lives in Galveston...

Simple fact, as the resale price drops, more ricers are going to get their filthy hands on the S.
Nah, this guy had the car from the getgo; I saw it back in early 2000, when I first got mine used for $1400 over msrp. So this guy probably paid full sticker for it, which makes it that much worse.

Its not BS ...it's probably just the JDM white face gauges

anyways the only thing sick about that car is the ways it makes me feel.

Considering that he has a supercharger (which typically adds 100 hp) and a 150 shot of NOS, that adds up to, let's see, 240+100+150 = 490hp. At the crank, of course. So, 500 hp THEORETICALLY isn't that far off...assuming he actually has those mods.

That said, I can't believe he fit 295s on the back wheels (285s fit with custom wheels and even then you'll often get some rub!) and the car definitely weighs more than 2500 lbs. Also, I believe the wheels are SSR GT1s (perhaps GT3s, I can't tell since I can't see if it has the "bolts" around the sides), not OZ Racing. Perhaps he's changed a few things since.

Also, how do you have a yellow CLEAR hood? If it's clear, isn't it colorless?

196mph isn't going to happen with that kind of body kit and that amount of horsepower. The car is quite bad in terms of drag and I'm guessing that kit, while it smooths out air flow in places, isn't helping much in terms of drag. He also weighs more than a normal S2000.

I don't think the car looks TOO bad, but that Veilside kit requires either a dark color (red or darker, preferrably blue or black) or silver to look (in my opinion) decent.

I think this guy is just taking advantage of "literary license" to say what he wants about his car.

Ah well, life goes on....
