Unless you run tubes to the air intake, I doubt there is any performance gain or cooling gain at ALL from this. Personally, I'de rather have ducts to cool by breaks if I'm doing to do this mod w/out tubs.

This modification can be used with breake ducting, as the brackets are a great way of attaching the tubing for the brake ducting. The difference in temperature on the radiator and air cleaner is almost the same using the hoses.
The purpose is to make the side vents useful, and increase air flow.

Can you show a whole front view of the s2k with those side vents on?
I'll post a pic tommorow.

What's up with the 5/32 hex wrench? I thought our car used metric hardware.

The 5/32 hex wrench is used with the brackets that are added to the S2000.

The easiest way to cut these side vents out is with a DREMEL Tool. That is what we have used to make modifications on the S2000.
