It looks like someone just glued on a piece of plastic in front of the rear wheel...don't like them much..

if you have the front and rear spoiler than get the strakes to complete it. It looks kind of stupid just having the side strakes

I agree with Doc on this one...I don't like the strakes too much. But to each their own. Complete side skirts look better IMO.

If you want to drill holes in your baby, the side strakes are for you. Personally, I wouldn't.

Side strakes? Well, I'll tell you:

The salesdroid I dealt w/ at Lute Riley Honda in Dallas, TX, (an EVIL dealership, as most here from north texas will confirm) suggested I NOT BUY THEM as they require that you drill holes in the body. On top of that, they sometimes don't even fit right. And if you want to remove them, filling the holes is next to impossible and will require new body parts.

Tell you what, when a moneygrubbing car salesman recommends AGAINS BUYING SOMETHING from him, I'm gonna take his advice

I have to go with yellow2001. If you're getting the OE spoilers, the side strakes look good with them (IMHO). As for drilling holes in the car, they do the same thing to install the rear spoiler. I got all 3 on mine. It's really just a matter of personal preference (and how much you trust the dealer to drill holes in your car.)

If I can find some better pics of the side, I'll try to post them.

I've talked to many S2K owners that have the side strakes and wish they didn't have them. A few of them have actually had theirs get ripped off by road debris and had to buy replacements. I'd pass on the side strakes.

Yep, have to concur with this opinion. Of course it's a matter of personal taste, but I'd pass on those things.

When someone says "side strakes," my first thought is ferrari testarossa from the 80's and some of the other ferraris (f-355, mondial). Those things that honda sells aren't side strakes...they look like mudflaps put on backwards or something.
