Default Sidemarker Removal Problems...

So I get my clear sidemarkers... figure it will probably be a quick and easy 5 minute install.. hop out to the garage smiling... Begin to push my stock sidemarker forward .. it doesn't budge.. I figure.. Eh might just have to put some force behind it... it still doesn't budge.... Now I have a short temper and am a fairly big guy (6'4" bench 300+) so this small piece of plastic is really starting to piss me off... So i literally give this little sidemarker all hell and everything I have.. thinking literally my car will move from how hard i am pushing this thing.... it doesn't budge... ok now.... Anyways... really need some sort of advice/method to get these things off??? any body have any ideas??? thanks

very strange... they just clip on. did you push it the right direction? (shouldnt matter, as they should move a little no matter what).
are you the first owner? if not, maybe the first owner epoxied them on!

JDM Clear Side Marker Installation Instructions by Muz.

Applying firm pressure push the amber side marker toward the front of the car.

This will depress the spring clip enabling you to remove the marker by lifting the back end of the side marker out from the body. (You should find using just your fingers to be sufficient but if necessary use a small screwdriver or flat instrument wrapped in cloth to help lift it just enough to get started.)

Here's what you will see once you have released the assembly from the body of the car.

Grasp the marker and socket assembly with both hands.

I don't know which direction you were pushing by "forward", but have you tried pushing in the opposite direction? They come out fairly easily if pushed in the correct direction.

Remove the socket assembly by turning it (about 1/4 turn) until it releases from the side marker housing. There is no need to unplug the wires from the socket assembly. (You don

Say Muz you have really pretty hands

Sorry seriously though in that first pic the s2000 badge looks like its bronze or something is that a reflection? I dont like the gold badging you see on some cars but this looks subtle and nice.

Nice step by step pics for the installs
I'd like to see such a detailed install series for a cold air intake install. BTW: I got a spare set of clear side markers, $25 shipped. PM me. Jeff
