Default Silencer ON or OFF? (Invidia)

After doing some research, I finally decided to get an Invidia exhaust. I got it installed today, but found out it's too loud without the silencer. However, I personally it's kinda ugly with the silencer installed. Any suggestions, comments are welcome.

you can always have them on for your common days...and off for the others.
the silent tip inserts do make a difference.

But the silencer really ruin the look of the big tip. looks really ugly IMO.

If it's too loud, use the silencer. If it's ugly with the silencer, get a different exhaust that is quieter and not ugly.

You're exactly right: they look wonderful without the silencers and, well, less than wonderful with the silencers. Thing is, when I take mine out (yup, got Invidias as well) I'm a little embarrassed by how loud they can be, especially at lowers speeds. Alarms go off, dogs howl, babies cry and Harley owners whimper softly and curse under their mustaches. And, I swear, my S is faster without the silencers. It's quite a dilema. What i'm doing is this: weekday driving, silencers in. Weekend driving, silencers out. It only takes like 2 minutes to switch.

leave em off. i live in NYC with the invidia so you can imagine how much worse it is here. if the sound doesn't bother you, who cares. and loud at low speeds? i find that the invidia quiets down substantially after 5000 rpms.
