Default Silver?

Is it me or dose it seem like 90% of the S2Ks around here are silver? Not that I hate silver or anything I just think that every one seems to have one. I have never seen a none silver S2k on the street.
Just wondering....

Where I live I see reds, blacks, yellows and silvers. I got silver because they didn't have blue back then and I don't like non-metallic paint in any color. I have gotten too many tickets in the past so red and yellow were out, and black is out because I live in the high desert (3,000 ft) and when it's 100 plus in the desert black is too hot.

All the ones I see here are silverstone. I have Sebring, which I kind of consider a NEON silver/whiteish color.

silverstone/sebring silver are the most popular colors for the s2k. white is the rarest, probably for every 100 s2ks made only 1 is white(which is a good thing, makes me car different ).

btw i like sebring silver b/c it looks white in particular lighting.

We have a of silvers in jersey too.
Dealers stock silver alot that's probably why.
I guess it's a color that can take a little bit of dirt and not be seen as dirty.

I have seen two ( I think Different) yellow S2ks, two silvers (plus mine of course) and quite a few reds recently. (I live near you.) When I bought my car, Schaumburg had 9 yes NINE Silverstone/Black cars. Reminded me of Henry Ford: "You can have any color you want as long as it's silverstone with black interior.) I was in there they other day, and they had the new white one in there. THey also had a used yellow one.
