How do you use the cruise control?

I was driving down the highway and tried to use it by pressing the button, but nothing happens. I did'nt want to poste this question but I lost my manual

Is there something esle I had to do?

First you "activate" the cruise control by pressing the button on the left-side of the wheel (behind the wheel), which I think you did. But you also have to press either "Accel" or "Deccel" on the steering wheel (at the speed you wish) to actually cruise at that speed. Tapping once will make your car go at the speed you were going when you tapped it. Tap "Accel" twice, the car accels by certain MPH (forget by how much), tap "decel" twice, just the opposite effect. Hope this helps.

 

Personally, I wish this car didn't have cruise control. It is a drivers car and feels best by not using such things. However, I realize if someone is on a long trip, and don't want to drive , then I could see using it. Too bad Honda didn't offer an S without S/C, cruis, and power roof. Just think of the weight savings that would be.

 

Oh man, if it didn't have cruise, I'd loose my license from to many tickets!
