Default Single Exhaust

I was wondering if anyone knows of a relatively quiet single (cat back) exhaust. Over the years many folks have reported on different set-ups, but most of them seem to be pretty loud (I don't want a really loud exhaust...been there, done that), but I would like to drop some weight and maybe gain a hp or 2. Have I missed any?

Thanks folks

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have a A'PEXi N1 for sale. Not as loud as other single outlet catbacks. PM me if interested, I'm in SoCal as well.

nice screen name. to nin.

anyways, the quietest (but most expensive) single you can get is the amuse single EXTRA titan (two resonators). I believe MAV had/has one.

er...WHAT? There is no such thing as a semi-quiet or even toned down single exhaust on the S2000...stop trying to sell the guy something!

Thanks for the input folks...I appreciate the candor Z06 Killer. I am willing to live with a bit more noise over stock (I know this is very subjective), and I may try the Buddy Club Spec IV. If I don't end up liking it, I haven't spent a small fortune. Anyone with experience with this exhaust? Or, the other Buddy Club exhausts?

Happy Thanksgiving folks!

Chemist...

Try to catch a ride with someone with that exhaust first. I had a single J's racing and it was as loud as a motorcycle. It was fun and loved it...however, it was because I wanted something considerably louder. A month went by and I sold it.

Then I moved to a dual magnaflow and while that was louder than stock, it was doable...I have driven in several S's...several with singles...several with duals...they are ALL loud...the singles...I would say unless you are going to track the car EVERY week, you will soon get tired of it.

I have the Apexi GT-Spec and it isn't too loud under normal driving, 9K sounds awsome.. It has a 4.5" tip that comes out at an angle and looks real nice. If you have an intake or just take the air box lid off with this exhaust it sounds terrific. I'll try and post a sound clip as soon as I get a video recorder.

I've had my single on 2 or 3 weeks and I love it so far. I could actually stand it to be a bit louder.
