Default Skunk

Does anyone know if Skunk2 has done any work on the S2000 and if there are any Skunk products for our car?

I've seen several people with Skunk coilver springs experience broken perches. One guy I know had his roll bar rip out the subframe, which I hear is also common. I work right across the street from Group A who makes the Skunk products. Looks like a hole in the wall to me.

a few things about skunk2:

1) I have had their coil over for well over 1 year on the crx now, no problems.

2) Skunk2 prepared a car for Taz harvey in Speedvision world challenege cup. Taz is running a 1.6 Liter Civic coupe. This last race, he came in second place, not by accident, but dominating the 328's and the ITRs. So skunk 2 really doesn't know what htey are doing. Oh they also work on Rodger Foo's car...

I think it'd be interesting to see what they could do, if they want to do anything for the s2000.

But, I have heard other people with problems with them... I know they first run of B series cams had issues.

Hmm, the reason I ask is because a guy I met had his Type R done by Skunk2. They did a high lift cam and polish, etc. and his car was very very fast. I did a run with him against the S2000 and he beat me pretty bad. Later that night, I rode with him and we could not find a car that could beat him. He suggested I have my engine worked on by this guy in Hayward, CA who did his car. It was very impressive, VTEC felt like real seat of the pants power. What do you all think of going all-motor upgrades instead of supercharging or turbo? I'm worried about warranty and engine longevity....

There are proven power fomulas for the B18C5 because its been out for so long. If you take your car to Skunk for them to work on, you'll basically be the guinnie pig. Too much to risk IMO. Hold out for a while or better yet get something proven right now (Comptech SC).

Yeah, ICE I think you are right. Does that supercharger by Comptech void all warranties?
