sleeping in the S
do you plan on going this year. ive been to every honda day at etown since 2010. i actually want to go to the atco one this year.
I took a nap coming back from Georgia while the girlfriend drove. Good thing the top was down. I wedged my head between the window and the side of the seat. Definitely not comfortable but doable. Like someone said, a power nap is doable. Definitely not more than an hour.
This topic reminds me of a memorable first trip I had with the s2000 (this was many many years ago and probably about 11 s2000's ago when I owned my first 2001 Spa I bought of another forum member in the PNW).
It was sometime in 2002 or 2003 but I had a bad cold and it was rainy as usualy when I flew out to Portland to buy my first s2000 back then for intention to use as a daily driver. I never drove the s2000 prior and only saw the car on a Craigslist ad. Anyways the car was a 2001 Spa and had this loud HKS exhuast and some wheels on it. The exhaust droned really bad with the top up but no choice since it was raining when I left for my 10 hour+ drive south. It was nightfall when I got to Medford and I was pretty tired so pulled into a rest stop and tried my best to sleep. Being too tall, eventually I gave up and just opened the trunk and slept there with my feet hanging out....haha It was near a covered rest stop and the rain had stopped but those few hours and that trip was probably my most memorable trip. Good thing I was young back then but I will never try to sleep in the s2000 again!

1. Mine is a daily work car, but the one time I was out of town and had 2 hrs. to kill and I was sleepy, I tried to sleep: miserable.
2. I was used to my Corolla, where I could recline to my heart's content, on a scale of 1 to 5, it was a -1, and I'm a napper, anywhere, any time, but the S: no!

Lol I did in 2012 for Honda Day. It Wasent that bad had a pillow, blanket and portable DVD player. Even my girl was able to sleep nice and tidy. There's was about 12 or 13 other guys that slept in their S's from S2ki metro NY/ NJ.
This is how it went for 2012 etown. Don't know if they did it last year or are doing it this year.

ive done it...but im also 5'7 and 115 pounds so it wasn't as cramped as it would be for most....but with that said, I still had to move around for a good 30 minutes to get all the stiffness out of me from sleeping in it when I woke up
