It happens to me too. I just go when the car next to me starts to go... unless it's a soccer mom with a school sticker on her gas tank door driving a Yukon sipping a Starbucks latte and talking on her cell phone in a jogging outfit and sun visor.

Then I bend over and see for myself.

Yeah, stop farther back. Also, at night you can see the light's color reflected on the dash.

I'm 5'9", and even with the top down, the top edge of the windshield is always in the way. I usually just watch the cross walk light, and start hunching over to see the traffic light when the crosswalk light turns solid orange(don't walk).

Happens to me too.

I was reading a thread about blind spots, someone mentioned they keep a convex mirror handy and toss it on the dash, to see the reflection of the light without neck strain.

Haven't tried it yet but thought that was pretty clever.

I installed the Backyard Special lowering seat rails to solve the problem.

Second one down, looks like their having trouble with spelling of the car name too. Based on this and another thread today, I'd swear there was a Mazada Miati club out there somewhere!

Not a bad product idea, wonder how much it would mess with your eyes driving down the road normally.

My problem is that I put up the e-brake and just go to sleep when it turns red.
