i left my house at 11:00 to go out to see what florida has to offer since im new here. had a awesome time didn't get back untill 3:45 to discover that my car was egged...not really a big deal ok ill wash it off. When i was washing the top i found there was HUGE razor cuts on both sides of my top WTF great. i live in tampa fl if ANYBODY knows anything or hears anything please respond to this post, its really unfortunate that people have to distroy nice things just because they don't have them or are envious of you... FML

 

That Sucks!! I hope you can get your top fixed through insurance!
I've had my S Egged while driving, luckily my top was up because i had just washed it!

Seems like every day there's a new story on here of theft/vandalism. What the heck is it with these cars?

Is the s2k more prone to this type of stuff than something like a 350Z or Z4? Why?

Some people were throwing ice from a house the other night. Had my top down and that was the first time I have had something thrown at me while in a car. I told my GF if they had hit her, it wasn't going to be pretty.

Mark, its funny you mentioned this. My step-father has a 460+ rwhp 350Z. We met him for lunch recently and he parked way out in a spot that happened to be 2 spots down from a silver s2k. We could see his car from the table and noticed the guys in the s2k checking out the Z when they were leaving. When we left we realized that the a-holes had spit all over his windshield.

I'm beginning to wonder if the new generation of kids buying the s2k are making us look bad/ somehow causing more instances of vandalism and a bigger market for stolen parts.

Whichever way you slice it, ever since that day my step-father has looked at the s2k community negatively.

 

I think so, being that the car is becomming more affordable, most idiots and haters are getting into them and trashing the reputation.

This is the reason I wish honda had discontinued them long ago, keep the resale value high and so does the class of the owners... atleast in speculation. Then again I could contradict myself, I have seen some serious dousche bags in ferraris too...
