Default Slight Rattle in MY05 Brand New...

I have a 2005 with 1K miles on it, and there is a slight rattle coming from the driver side when the top is up. It is very suttle, but also very annoying. Anyone have a similar problem or a good solution? Thanks in advance.

That might be the dumbest statement I've heard in a while.

Anyway, yeah, it's a clicking coming from somewhere near the top on the driver's side. I just can't pinpoint it.

I'd bet it's coming from the soft-top latches. Mine rattle and buzz despite various efforts to stop it. The only effective method thus far is holding my finger on the stupid thing. So now I roll the window down a bit....and the noise is gone. Mine also rattle when the top is down, only noticeable at low speed so not a big annoyance.

Try using Shin Etsu grease to lube up the seals. This seems to be a common solution to hardtop squeaks so perhaps it would work for your soft top. Not sure if this solution applies to soft tops, but I thought I would throw it out there in case it did. If any of you know better, please correct me. Good luck!

Check to see if it is the joints in the structure over your head.
