looks like it might have been T-boned on driver side, or it went into a tree/pole. I don't see the requirement for me to slow down if someone was acting like a fool, or just got into a bad circumstance.

I wonder what the story with this accident was, street racing, aggressive driving, equipment failure, etc.

Maybe the guy was driving 10mph under the limit, on his way back home to see his wife and kids, until he was T-boned in the intersection by a drunk truck driver and decapitated.
