Unhappy Slow S2k?

Hey guys, well iv owned my baby for quite a while now.. and im not really into the whole triple digit stuff, but you know i just had to make sure the 1 worked and wasn't burnt out or anything like that, so i found a long road in the middle of nowhere and gave it all she had till just after 4th. My car seemed to struggle to get to 120! i mean i may have been going up a slight incline i don't remember (was in the mountains)... all i remember is it taking quite a while to get over 100 and never made it to 120 before shutting down...i dont even know if it where to of gotten there...lol. I mean I didn't buy the car for 1/4 mile or anything like that i dont care about that stuff but im just wondering if the incline may have taken a huge toll on my car just due to torque or something like that, or is there something that could possibly be wrong? what should i check for? any maintenance or anything that i should check up on? i just changed my oil about 1k ago, my car has about 27k miles on it. Or maybe im just crazy and theres nothing to worry about, and im just wasting my, and your time... either way... whats your input on this? lol thanks

top up or down? it may just be the uphill.. but my car moves quiet OK even in 5th gear IMO. or maybe you're just nuts =] time for a turbo kit?

i had the same problem getting to 140mph with my top down and in high resistant winds!! hahaha... you'll find that inclines, wind and top up top down will take a big toll on ur top speed.

on a good sunny day with the top up i was able to reach 145 much easier with what seemed to have a bit more to go. anything beyond going 150mph is just rediculouse.

lol nah it was about an hour ago.. tops... with the top up... and 1 passenger...about....130 lbs.....yeah my friends skinny lol but im thinking it may have been a pretty decent incline because the entire distance of the road its just rising and falling hills in a straight line. idk... is there something i could check .... maybe put some stickers on or something for added HP? lol

red nos stickers are good for at least 20whp. make sure they are red though otherwise they are only good for 10whp. ALso you can flip your honda badges upside down and that is good for aerodynamics. Both may hely out your situation. Lol, yeah, no stickers.

I was passing some trucks on the Interstate once. I downshifted to fourth gear and floored it, just intending to get in front of the two or three semis as quickly as possible. Before I knew it, I was at ~110mph. I had passed the semi's by then, so I let off the gas.

I'm not sure how things would be like from 110-120mph, though.

This was with the top up (cloudly day, looked like it was about to rain at any time).

I have yet to take my car up that high, but I have broken 100 a few times and it get's there pretty quick. I have had the top up with doing this.

Hmm, I don't know. My 07 gets to 120+ VERY easily and quickly even in 6th gear. This was on a flat road, perhaps the incline was steeper than you previously thought?

100 to 120 takes no time at all. 140-155 is a different story.
