Does everyone's S start up with a slow crank?

Doesn't sound attractive at all, didn't know if it was supposed to be this way or what..

 

sounds like you need a new battery.

 

it happens like once in a blue moon!!

 

Mine does that when it sits in the garage too long. My S turned over really slow for a few weeks a while back but it went away after I took it on a long drive. I believe they say 60+ consistent driving miles (like a highway drive) fully recharges a battery (if charging is what is needed).

 

ok.. so here the trick i found out... before start your car make sure you turn off or MUTE your radio and turn off all fan or anything that is ON. then wait till the car check out everything and the beeping stop.. then Press START it would be Easy...

if you try to rush start or anything it will be very SLOW!!! plus if you have any thing on that could take power away from the battery before START... which will make the start slow.

 

so what's the rpm it idles at?

 

At about 1k.

yea i suppose, mine's at 1k too. But it's 2k when the car's off for many hours then i start up.

 

My does a weak start after I drove the car for a while and then park the car for ~20 mins and starts again........ and seems to do that when I am on a slop drive way too.......

Whats the cause of the weak/pale start up ?
