Default Small 02 Changes Not Mentioned Yet

I just recently traded my 01 for an 02 and am curious if any other 02 owners have noticed: Louder more distintive horn, and that the leg room, especially the passenger has been slightly reduced. I say this because I often carry a 6'3" work associate with me to lunch who also often rode in my 01 model, and he swears that he has less leg room and it is more difficult getting in and out. I can only think that with the new rear glass, Honda may have had to increase just slightly the well area that the top folds into and therfore moved everything, including the seats up slightly? I have not personally noticed any difference since I am only 5'11" and don't have the seat back all the way.
Also let me add, any 02 owners considering adding Rick's console cover over Honda's new "pleather" cover, it looks and fits great. Just installed yellow and black combo along with Rick's leather boot shift in my spa yellow!

The "H" badges are larger on the '02.

And BTW--my 4'11" girlfriend also complains about the difficulty of getting out of the car.

Since you mentioned the larger H badges, let me also say that the removal of these badges for Rick's S badges is not as easy as prior models. The rear comes off the same, but the hood badge is actually rivoted into the bumper and after breaking it off in my hands, had to take a hax saw blade to saw off the connected pieces. This of course after taping off my front bumper and being very careful.

I like the big "H" badges. I must be the only guy who does, but oh well.

Please also post pics of badges (02 and before) for comparison, if possible.
Thanks.

Gary, yes the horn was changed. This has been discussed. Leg room is identical. Honda did not reconfigure the entire area behind the passenger seat or change the amount the seat travels back. It's probably the fact that the seats are new and not broken in.

If you do a search there are a long list of items that have changed. From major items like the glass window all the way down to minor things like the relay "click" from the intermittent wiper is no longer present.

Maybe S2ki needs to compile a complete list in their library.

Hey that's a good idea. I'll mention it in the Moderators' forum.

I'd like to see the larger "H" in a picture. I agree that sometimes a larger badge looks nice...
