I was considerong adding the stainless steel brake lines adn the market place has both stoptech and comptech so which of the 2 brands are better and with the new lines obviously it says nice improved braking results, but are there of any negative consequences?

ALso with slotted rotors, any reason not to put some on? and whos do you recommend

 

lines are lines.

if 1 has a covering over the braid go for those.

 

Can't go wrong with Brembo rotors,slotted,X-drilled,or both !!!

 

stainless steel brake hoses:

advantages -- very little. slightly more direct feel for the brakes relative to the stock hoses.

disadvantages -- more vulnerable to damage, expensive

I have them (Stoptech) on my car.

rotors:

advantages: blingy look

disadvantages: rotors can be more prone to failure, brake pads can wear faster, extra cost, can contribute to more brake fade

I do not have them on my car.
