Have some of you come up with some better ways to hold stuff in this car? For example, a driver's door or driver's side of the transmission tunnel map pocket, cupholder not in the way of my shifting arm (or so I can go between hospitals in the morning with a cup of coffee AND a cup of dry cereal), etc.? I already use the upper compartment for sunglasses and a hat, and the lower compartment is my rolling CD rack.

David, I'm with you... we need an add-on cup holder of some kind. I've looked to no avail. Someone help us! By the way... nice coin holder, Ted, but I've gone to a debit card. ;-)

You dont need no stinkin cup holder. Get rid of that damb radio, a/c, and power steering as well. That ought to help out in the weight/power ratio! Make this thing a real car!

motorcity riceburner,

I just need quarters for parking meters; they don't take debit cards (or PayPal) yet in Seattle .

reecespieces,

I picked the coin holder up at Brookstone (tool/gadgets store and catalog).

It's two pieces: a plate that sticks on via two-sided tape, and the main piece, which pushes on to the plate via two posts/holes.

The tape holds the plate to the car REALLY well, but the posts don't quite do the trick to hold the loaded coin holder to the plate during spirited driving, so I put some poster tack stuff in between. That way I can still take the main piece out temporarily (for the track, if I need more space in the compartment, etc.)

For a good coin holder, try using a M&M mini's plastic container. That is my solution to a coin holder. Latez!

I never carry change, food or drinks. Problem solved. But then I don't have to park in metered parking either and if my Melissa goes on a trip, the wife holds the drink. I new I married her for something.

Hey RT,

The next time we're with Tedster, I know where to pick up some loose change.
