in the spring and summer months I have cigars ALLLL the time.. I don't care that my car "reeks" of cigar smell .. a few mins of blasting around with the top down airs mine out quite fine..
I smoke Cigars all the time all year long. The car will stink. But it airs out. Its your car. Who gives a rats ass about the person that buys it down the road. Throw an air freshner in the car before ya sell it. Enjoy the car the way you want to. You could not smoke in the car for a year then when parked a tree falls on it. Smoke issue not so big anymore? Live to the fullest and the way you want to....it can all be taken away in a heart beat , literally!

As the mooninites would say "Go and drive and smoke while doing so!"

Excellent point. If you ever want to sell your S, and you've smoked in it with any kind of frequency, you'll be screwed. Those of us who can't tolerate that disgusting smell notice it the moment we get into a smoker's car, because the smell permeates the carpets and short of re-carpeting the entire car, that smell will never go away. The only people who don't notice the stench are smokers themselves.

One good reason - burn marks!! I have seen so many cars that have a burn mark in them somewhere from a dropped cigarette.

Another side effect is that you may mind the smoke starts to turn things like the rear window yellow.

If you have just quit smoking and the smell is really getting to you, maybe you want to purchase a pump spray air freshener for in the car. Give it a quick spray before you drive so that you don't get smell the smoke and the urge to have another ciggie.

uhhhhhhhhhhhhh Dee. do you smoke with your windows up? cuz that could be the problem.

Also it's not good enough to just have one window open since that creates a vacuum and that actually keeps the smoke in. Open both and you won't have that problem.

I smoke in the car all the time, doesn't smell.
