Default Snow adventures in Oregon...

I was looking out the window earlier and started to watch this guy try to get his sudo SUV (sucky utility vehical) out of a parking space. After watching for a couple of minutes I grabbed my camera and began to snap some pics......

So we pick up the story with pictures at this point. We are now a minimum of 10 minutes into the operation. The driver has managed to get the car half way out of the parking space. That is as far as he can get it.

At this point the back of the SUV will only slide from side to side when the drive hits the gas.

Help arrives in via a second guy with a shovel. They decide to dig out the rear tires.

Let's see if this works..... ummm nope, the SUV still won't move.

Let's dig some more and see if that works........... still no luck.

Ok, I guess nothing else has worked, let's try to put chains on.....

Still trying to put the chains on.....

After I watched and snapped pics for 40 minutes they gave up and decided to drive the old Acura Legand!!!

Honda FTW!!!

I would have loved to have been there and toodled by in the S.....
Top down and waving as I passed.

They'd probably try to hit me with the shovel.

no the funny part is that they had a fwd car they could have used the whole time, but wasted 40+ min trying to dig the "SUV" out.

I was on the phone with my dad and told him if the guy couldn't get that thing out of the parking spot, there is no telling what kind of problems he will have on the road.

Not being able to get out of the parking spot may have saved his life.
