So...About these 4.57 gears...
Or any gear swap for that matter. I understand that it's adding like 8-18 percent of "thrust". But my question is this. Would it be like adding 16-32 horses to the ground, or 16-32 ft/lbs? Or neither?
The reason I ask, is because I got to thinking about it, and adding, say, 15 ft/lbs across the torque band would equate to about 25 horses at 9000 revs.
Or is it just purely "thrust", like adding the ft/lbs, but not the horses? Does all this make sense to anybody?
