Default So I got rear ended today...

I was going driving home this morning about to get ready for work, and was doing 30 mph in a 35 behind a tractor trailor. Something spit up from the tires so I braked hard, and then looked in my rear view and noticed a 90's Acura Legend about to hit me. I don't think he really even braked, as I never heard them. I just saw him plow right into the back of me as I clenched the steering wheel and prepared myself the best I could for the impact.

After he hit, my car shut off, and I restarted and we both pulled into a parking lot while I called the police. He was issued a ticket for following too closely; I feel bad for him since he was a nice guy and just switched to liability with State Farm last month - now his car is FUBAR and he has to pay out of pocket to fix it all

Here are the pictures from the accident. The bumper plastic has melted on my sweet muffler tip

Someone sell me their bumper

wouldn't his insurance pay for it all?? just get a brand new one! can't imagine his car being FUBAR because it's higher and i'm sure heavier and more solid in the front than the S2000 is in the rear, though...

either way, your car looks like it held up pretty well from the accident

I'm pretty sure that his insurance will cover your car, but not his.

I'm not familiar with the term FUBAR.

Wow, that sucks. At least yours will get fixed at his expense. I know I'd be .
