I had lunch in Santa Monica with an NSX owner today since he wanted to check out the S2K. On the way up, north on the 405, I saw a red S2K going southbound. On the way back home, I saw a black S2K going northbound. Man, I can't believe how often I'm seeing the car. Did Honda really only import 5,000 for the first year???? Seems like a lot of them ended up down here.

By the way, it was a great day today to ride with the top down. Had some sprinkles early in the morning, but it was gorgeous today. I think it was one of those freak, warm days we get once in a while during the winter in LA.

I'm curious about the number of S2000s in the US for the year 2000 and what's projected for 2001 and so on.

To add to Marks comments on the 405 I saw a silver Stook at about 5:30 today near Long Beach Blvd, headed north. In the six months I've been watching this is only the 2nd time I've seen one on the freeway. Damm both times I was driving my other car!
