Love mine. They've been on both my S's. I ordered a set for a friend when they came chipped he sent me another set no sweat. JS2k ftw!

Previous owner had them on the car when I bought it. Looks great. Don't see any reason to remove.

Had mine for many years (JS2K I think?). One has chips and I need to replace. Love em but used to worry about moisture getting in as the little trap door on the lock is open. I lube with spray Teflon start of each season.

I have them. No complaints, they do their job. Not sure how they would chip unless you are removing them frequently? I never touch mine, keyless entry FTW.

Wow I didn't even know such a "mod" exists until I came across this post. And I never gave those keyholes any thoughts until now either! Looks really good actually

You can also replace the assembly with one from a 6th gen Accord.

They're cheaper than I thought they would be
Yeah back in the day, the only vendors that sold them wanted $30 I think - js2k is a great sponsor here.
This is probably why I didn't get them until last year. They do look good, especially on the trunk.
