Is VSA a very complicated device? or just (brake)computer upgrade w/ sensors?

I think VSA is a good thing to have for my wife...if it costs decent amount.
and I wonder if it's even possible to install..

oh well I hope someday, Honda or aftermarket company would offer VSA as an upgrade for previous models..

since it comes bundled with DBW...probably not possible to retrofit...or at least very expensive.

I'm not sure you'll be able to just install the VSA, since the 06 is TBW (throttle-by-wire). I suppose, if you converted everything over, it could work. But it would be VERY expensive, I would expect

But I do agree, it wouldn't be a bad idea for those who aren't so familiar with the car.

It only takes money, but then, by the time you get this done, you may as well have bought a new car.

Unless your S2K is your only car and daily driver, you will not want VSA. It came standard in my G35, and I hate it. It is also a pain in the neck to have to disengage every time I turn on the ignition.

how is pushing a button a "pain in the neck?" you have to push a button to start the motor... so does that mean starting the s2000 is a pain in the neck?

Suprisingly, it is a major pain to always have to turn it off. I'd love to find a way to program the car to have it turned off at startup and require you to turn it on, if need be, but I don't think that's as easy as it sounds.. at least on the Infiniti system....

Nah; according to xwiper, I'm supposed to say its a pain in the ass.

The problem with the VDC (Nissan's version of VSA) in the G35 is that the damn button is hidden at the bottom of the dash near my left knee cap, amongst other infrequently used switches. It's tough to get to, and easy to forget, until the damn electronic nanny kicks in. If it were located where the hazard light switch is, I wouldn't complain so much. IMHO, the VSA will make the MY06 S2K a model to avoid among future used car buyers and collectors.
