Default SoCal S2000 purchase

Hello! I have been drooling over the S2K since its inception, and jealously watching person after person post their first email on this wonderful site since the earliest days of s2ki.com .... and finally I can say ........... "my name is brian, and i own an s2000".

Picked up a silverstone/black with 14mi (with included 100k mi extended, wheel locks, upgraded security) for $31,260 in West Covina (L.A.) from a wonderful salesman named Gus (fleet manager).

I have read thread after thread about horrible experiences w/ dealers, but Gus was spectacular, and I'd be happy to put you in touch with him.

I'd also like to thank everyone (especially cthree) for their contributions to this site.... I went in to this purchase far more educated than previously possible, and am sure that my ownership experience will be enhanced by all that I have learned/ continue to learn.

Keeping it below 5500, checking the oil, and salavating for that 600mi!

Brian

Hey, I bought from Gus, too! I found it difficult to get the same answer from him twice, but in the end, I got a good deal. Sounds like you had an even better experience.

Congrats and welcome!

Not all salespeople are on "the take" when selling these cars. But whenever they get a chance to sell one of Honda's top cars I think alot of them are.
