Default Soccer Mom meets S2000 at intersection OUCH!!!!

Decided to go by and pick up a friend tonite to meet up with some other S2000 buds in dallas. One got a new Carbon Fiber hood and hard top had to see it! We pulled up to the intersection of Preston and Main in Frisco TX sitting at the Red light i noticed a Brand new Toyota Sequoia. You know the REALLY bug new SUV from toyota. Suddenly i see the reverse lights come on and watch in horror as the monster toyota starts backing toward my car. I hold down the horn try to throw the car into reverse but it was too late. As i watched my hood fold like a taco all i could think was "God i hope she did not hit the supercharger" My buddy brian got out of the car as i sat there hitting the wheel yelling thinking ok contain yourself. She said she never saw me but last time i checked i did not think you were suposed to BACK UP at a red light. And she was not even in the intersection. I will post pics i am thinking we are in the $8000 range on this one.

This is Brian....the co-pilot tonight in the wreck......I almost cried when it happened. John is right, the hood folded like a taco. It seemed as though it happened in slow motion. Stupid Soccer MOM's!!! She was about as clueless as they come....and the guy didn't even know what the hell an S2K was. He came up to the front bumper thinking it would be like $200 to fix the bumper and stuff. I was like, "you betta have an awesome ins. company". I have the pics on my digital camera, I just need to find the Fuji cd to load the program again.

Brian

I asked why she did it and her sps said that he was telling her telling her that she was in the left hand turn lane and then told her to get in the lane to the right so they can go straight. Then she put the car in reverse, the big-ass white lights came on, and she just gradually stepped on the accelerator and used John's S2K as a speed-bump. John was on the horn the WHOLE FRICKIN time and she said that she didn't hear or see his car.

Argh I hate hearing stories like these. SUVs should know to double check their blindspots. That means all cars that are lower than them. Sorry about your car. But I think your neck hurts and maybe your back. You should go see a doctor if you know what I mean.

Sorry for laughing but it sounds funny. My neighbor has a Sequoia, and that thing could go over an S2K like a speedbump or a little rock.

Earlier today, I ran over a curb and dented the sideskirt on the right side. Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder how much it would cost to get it pulled out.

How many times have I heard similar backup SUV stories? What the hell are they thinking when they back up? I guess they rely on chance or something.

it was not like she was backing out of a parking spot or a driveway we are talking about at a red light. And she was not even in the intersection and it was a rual part of town.

I just dont even know what to say it is just the most unbelievable act of complete stupidity i have ever seen short of jumping out of a plane with no parachutte
