Default Soft Top...

I posted a reply in another topic a few times but no response. Well here goes.
I have an 01 with 59k miles. Warranty is up long ago lol. I have heard of people actually getting their soft top replaced 100% by honda even with warranty gone. Can someone verify? What are some of the outcomes and what are some of my options? Where can I get a new 03+ soft top for cheap? Thanks in advance.

I have the same question...
I also have a MY01 and I went to ask for a 03-08 ST but they said it won't fit because the product numbers are different. I'm like WTF? People online said it would fit... well does anyone know if it will fit or not? My ST is ripped so all I need is to replace it, not the frame or motor... just the top.

is this website reliable?

it all depends really if it was a tear in a spot where it happens a lot, not sure if they have had recalls on certains things about the top, but i know that they have issues with certain spots wearing out quickly...

If you can get them to replace a wear item on a 7-year old car, more power to you.

That is what I am trying to find out. In another post someone said it has happened but I want to verify it and or other solutions. Come on people there has to be more input on this subject.

I think a lot of it has to do with how much money the dealership has made off of you. They will obviously work harder to please a "cash cow" than someone like me who has never spent a cent in their service department.

Realistically youll probably have to buy a new soft top. www.hardtopguy.com sells them at a great price. He has the 02+ ones with the glass and always has had great customer service.
