Default soft top question

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this. I'm going to get the S2000, but had some last minute concerns. For anyone who has had their S2000 for awhile now, how is the soft top holding up? Does it still look brand new? Because I've seen some of the other convertibles on the road, and the top looks all damaged with tears and rips. I wanted to know because I really don't want to spend money to repair or replace the top all the time.

Like anything else you have to maintain it and take care of it. If you do it will last for quite a while, if you don't the obvious will take place.

Mine still looks new. The car is only 7 months old, but I take good care of it. If it holds out for 5 years, I will be very happy. I only use it when it rains and when parked, so its never really up the much.

The top is high quality and if you maintain it well, it will last and look new. Most owners garage their S day and night protecting it from sun and rain.

if it is a 02' or later ... you will not have to worry about the window. As for mine, 3yrs and it looks great.

My softop is also 3 years old and it still looks brand new. I treat it every 6 months with a good vinyl treatment. Keeps it looking great. You just have to take care of it properly.

I treat mine with "Ragtop" (I think that's the name of the product)
and it looks great. Rain drops look like little silver beads. There was a group buy about a year or a year and a half ago. It's great stuff.

maybe a bit off topic, but perhaps someone can fill me in. i am about to purchase a S, and i've never owned a convertible, how would you rate the noise level in the interior. 1 to 10 1 being the loudest and 10 being quiet, or quietest?
