Soft top Question (string Hanging)

Default Soft top Question (string Hanging)

Finally got my S2000 (03)
previous owner installed the soft top. maybe a month ago.
I am seeing this string at the end of the soft top .
do you guys know where you tuck in? or cut?
Have any Idea??
I've researched everywhere but couldn't find it.

Perhaps one of our roof installation experts like @2poor2mod can offer some assistance.

Previous owner installed it himself? Be sure the trunk is not flooding in the rain or when washing the car. Seems to be a frequent issue with botched installs. Can you determine what roof this is (brand, material)?

I would Inspect passenger side and make it like that. If hanging also, Then I would try tuck it. Might have to remove window seal and seal holder by piece hanging. Then tuck and reinstall everything.

I would let the top back and find a spot to tuck it in.
