Default Soft Top Replacement- with out removing seats?

So i have to take my car in to get the top replaced under warranty. I called two dealers and both of them refer the job out to local upholstery shops. I called the shops and asked them if they revmove the seats to repalce the top. Both said no. They said they've done s2000's before. From what i've read on here, the seats are the first thing that has to come out for them to get access to the interior panels.

Is it possible for them to replace the top properly without taking out the seats. I dont want them to be ripping panels apart and just slap everything back together.

THanks.

removing the seats is also sooooo easy.

I couldn't imagine pulling the rear tray out if I couldn't sit on the center console with my feet on the floor and my head pressed against the window. Having the seat there would make that much harder.

I remove the seats when I detail the car. Takes 2 minutes per seat. Just unbolt the rails and pull the seat out

it's not required but removing the seats take 5 minutes and makes the soft top replacement 100 times easier
