soft top rubber leak on where the end of the window closes

Default soft top rubber leak on where the end of the window closes

I need help on my s2k there is a leak on my soft top on the window side a rubber where the window resides when it closes and its leaking bad the rubber might be torn. how can I fix it? do I need to get a new soft top or seal it with a sealant or something to cover that leak? thanks. I hope I explained it very well..

replace it or try some shenetsu grease

I had the same problem this summer.

Here's a link to Shin Etsu Grease. Apparently it does miracles.

Another option is to use glycerin. You can find pure glycerin in the cosmetics isle of a pharmacy. It's usually down low and no one knows about it.

Don't use white lithium grease... You can hop online and find many recommendations to use this, but don't. It's dirty. Glycerin is the best thing for me. Easier for me to get. Don't have to order online, don't have to wait for the dealer to get it back into stock.
