While I was waiting for a friend for lunch in my car, I looked around and noticed a developing tear above the passenger seat to the right. Is this normal for a car 6K miles? It just does not seem right to see the top wearing so fast.

I looked at the other side and there are no indications of wear at all.

Any input is highly appreciated.

If there is tear --> not normal

You should only see shiny spots on the soft top in places where the frame sits.
