Default Softtop Conversion 00' to glass back

I know this question has been asked before. But how much does it cost for a plastic back to glass back conversion? And how long does it take? Is it worth it to go through a dealer to get it done or can I go to a specialist to just have the plastic replaced? Thank in Advance!

Not easy or cheep man. Also not exactly a plug and play design. Does require some jerry-riging. I want to do mine when I am out of things to do.

I think the only way to do this is to replace the entire soft top. It has been done to my car, but was done by the original owner... and boy am I happy!

As far as pricing goes.. just try to see how much the entire top costs.

hardtopguy sells the entire "Blue" top for about $700 listed on his site. Im assuming a black top would run about the same $ but id double check with him first as far as the labor, well that might be more than the top itself, dont really know. I know appaoustry(spelling) shops have experience with this

There is a adobe write up with the whole install somewere. I think you can find it in the library. (s2ki, not your local one)
