Default Softtop and insurance

Well not too long ago, a tree branch hit my softtop and i ended up getting a nice hole (about 4x6 inches big) in my softtop. The hole was right under my rear window driver side.

Well i should just call my insurance company and pay the deductible. My concerns is the fact that i have 2 wear rips on the passenger side on the top. Both holes about an inch.

My question is, is the wear marks on my top gonna cause any issues with the claim? Any one have something like this happen to them?

BTW i did search this and couldnt come up with anything to help me in my case.

Thanks in advance!

You won't. File the claim and get your top repaired. Mine had wear marks and due to recent vandalizing is currently being replaced. For reference, you'll be roughly getting around the ball park of 2200 or more before any deductibles.
