RossoS2K,
Sorry you couldn't keep the car. If weighed against owning a house (and having a happy wife) selling the car is not that bad a thing. Buying a house is certainly the best financial investment you can make.

Good luck.

I couldnt justify the payments to my wife, we are going to buy a house and we had to put things in order, of course my car came last.
After 6 weeks of ownership here are my thoughts.

==>I would have the same problem.....but not if she gets the car!

i'm suprised that there were even two people that didn't have a snappy argument to rosso's reasoning. usually we're a much harsher group.

good luch rosso, and enjoy the house and the wife

Look on the bright side. When you are ready for another sports car, there will be more way cool things out there! I am constantly amazed at the quality and quantity of performace cars available nowdays.

Hell, in a few years maybe ther will be a V8 NSX or a V6 or V8 S2000! Look on the positive side.

family and kids are the right thing to give up the car for if you have to....now a disagreeable wife, I have issue with that....

My wife and I have this constant give and take going. She puts up with my silly cars and I put up with her silly..EVERYTHING! Photography, Scrapbooking, Art, Clothing, etc. etc. it never ends. I just have this car and gadget thing...

Even if he didn't have a house to consider, he plain didn't like it the way he wanted to use it. Get over it, guys. The S2000 is good, but why bother persuading someone who's already made their decision?

Lighten up.

Song... are we married to the same woman? Sounds all too familiar. BTW... it was good to meet you the other day at the dyno.

WOW!

I am really suprised by the mixed reaction from people...

For starters. Its going to cost me about 1500$ to have driven the car for 6 weeks. I dont concider it to bad...(try renting one for 6 weeks for that kind of $)
I love the car. I traded my Miata in for it and I loved that more! I would have had to sell the miata too if I still had it.
Our dream house came up for sale and even though we arent really ready to purchase it we have to jump in with both feet.
I replaced the S2000 with a 01' golf.
I have ricks shift boot in black with red stiching if anyone is interested....

Thanks
