Default Sold my S

Just wanted to say thanks to all the members @ S2KI for all the help and fun reading. I learned soooo much. I may have a S again in the future. For now, I'll just have to drive my EVO MR.

Wow, that is a nice color. It really distinguishes itself from ordinary Evos. I would go with some JDM rear tail lights though. How is the driving experience compared to the S? Congrats!!

That is one awesome performer. I was seriously considering it myself (just the regular 2004 Evo), but then had serious misgivings about its reliability and Mitsubishi's service reputation. So I got the Honda. Check in with us once in awhile and let us know how it fares over time. Best wishes.

I have an 04 s2k sitting in my garage with just over 2ooo miles on it. Not nearly enough seat time due to 2 kids at home under the age of 2. I have been considering a trade for an MR, but just cant part with my S. The advantage on the Evo is obviously room for the wife and 2 baby seats to take the family along. The evo would definately be my choice should the S have to go. However I think it would .

As much as I love the evo and would totally drive it, I don't think I'd take one over an S2k. The base Lancer is priced to compete and perform with the civic/corolla/focus. We all know the evo is totally different, and looks cooler, but still the price for a "hot rodded version of a civic competitor" is what turned me off to it vs. the S. Still, I think that color looks quite sharp and hope you enjoy it!
