RC 51 + Insurance + you will be right back in debt. I'm going the other way. Sold a VFR and looking for a S2000. Be careful 0-60 in 3 secs hold the throttle for another 2 secs and your going 100 MPH. Practice your braking everytime out. Here is a good drill for you. Going a hundred is a piece of cake.... stopping it from a hundred is a real eye opener. Practice stopping from speed it may save your life. Start by applying LIGHT front and rear and as the rear unweights squeeze on more front. But if you know what a Rc-51 is you probably know what you are doing. Do a set of twistys for me!
Thanks for the replys guys....
and for the Ford Haters: I should mention a few things.
We also have an 02 Focus, original owners, 73K miles, not a single problem,
not a single recal notice, absolutely nothing but solid since day ONE.
My 97 F150. 93K miles, before I got it, it was used by the US Gov. as an OFF ROAD VEHICLE. Buero of land management patrol vehicle. ALSO, I have beat the living crap out of it in MY time with it off road, too. So, MOST of its days have been off road. Still tight. OHH my, It did have one problem.
at 90K miles, one of the 02 sensors failed. WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK!!!
No recals, (that I know of) No problems, just a GREAT reliable as hell truck.
Now lets talk S2000.... shal we?
Now mind you, im NOT honda hating.. I love honda. But the S's reliability record is nothing to call home about.
In my S's 83K miles... recal about spark plug problems, repeating clutch fork lubrication required, a check engine light that apparently required a "MAP WHACK" (fixed it), as of late, a drivetrain vibration that might have been a cv joint going out.... (I thanked my lucky stars that I didnt ever have second gear grinding issues, a blown diff, or a blown motor like my buddy at 50K)
Nothing but GREAT things to say about my 'crap' F150.... shit, it even got 19mpg on the way to arizona once.... with a V8. AND, it hauls my quad and dirtbike where ever I want to go riding. Tonight, my crap F150 is going 5 hours north to pismo beach.
Have fun!
HEY... you bet I will take a twisty road for ya!!!!
And yep, im coming from lots of street experience.

Well, thats respectable stitos2k,
However... the Honda RVT1000R (rc51) is not
your typical crotch rocket.. having a 1000cc VTwin motor,
(such as in a HD) but much, much higher performance.
Ohh... and that sound. Nothing like the thunder of that VTwin, and the loud whine of the gear driven cams...
