the first one is Schumacher's Ferrari. Can you hear that "sputter"? From what I understand it's the hidden traction control they've invented that makes that sound.

I don't think that's the sound of traction control. He's downshifting and traction control is to help them control acceleration. I also think that if Ferrari was going to break the rules and put traction control on their cars, they would not make it sound so obvious. Cool sounds though!!!

Yeah, the sounds were great. I've never been to an F1 race, but I remember the first time I heard the turbocharged V8 of a Champ car (CART) bouncing off the buildings in downtown Houston. I can't believe the transmissions in those cars can make it through a whole race. It sounds so violent every time they shift. I can't imagine getting paid millions of dollars to drive one of those cars. It must make driving on the regular roads seem like slow motion.
