some A/C questions..............
now that summer has come i have been using the a/c quite alot , but the problem is that i dont feel like the s2000's a/c is as powerful and affective as my accords a/c! is this normal or just me?
how do you maximize the cabin coolness with the a/c (is it better to leave it as fresh air mode or recyclation mode?is ther somthing i can to maximise the a/c preformance?
does fan speed reduces the s2000's preformance? or just the a/c it self?
thanx!

The A/C compressor is driven by the engine drive belt (serpentine). When it cycles "ON", the clutch on the compressor locks and the engine gets more load from driving the A/C. Your fan is an "electrical" draw and thus would still put a load on your engine indirectly.
Do you run with A/C ON, fan on highest setting, direct airflow through the vents, HEAT OFF, top UP, air source on FRESH? Mine is quite adequate but our weather here doesn't get nearly as hot as yours.
If your A/C is not functioning to your satisfaction, you might check the refrigerant charge just in case you have leaked some out.

Mine does the same way, it will get cold, then get cool for a while, then back to cold, etc...... So last year I carried it back to the dealer and they checked the Freon in it, said it was full, but pumped it out and back in, and it still does the same thing. Other folks here said theirs is the same way, so I guess it is just a normal thing. Frusterating nonetheless if it is very hot outside.
