Default Some insight on suspensions please~

I'm planning on purchasing suspensions along with rims. I've already picked out the rims I want, but I'm totally lost on suspensions. Where I live doesn't have the best road conditions so I want something easy to drive but handles well. My friend suggested GP-Sport but I have no idea what that is. Please help me out~ Thanks.

Define "suspensions". Are you referring to just springs, or are you replacing the struts as well?

The stock setup is relatively tight (but comfortable) compared to your average sedan. Suspension changes are usually made with an eye toward improving handling and performance, but there are trade-offs.

If your local roads are in poor condition, you may not enjoy a "sports" suspension setup.

I've read Bilsteins is the only real upgrade over the stock suspension. If you want to just lower it for looks, then you have many choices.

I've heard many good things about the T1R B max system. I've been looking into this setup. Seems like the perfect choice (besides stock) for daily driving and occasional track days.

Koni + Ground Controls.

Very nice upgrade over stock. Koni shocks are better quality than most of the JDM "coilover" sets and the Ground Control sleves make them height adjustable. You can also adjust the rebound of the Koni shocks to suit the spring rates that you choose.

Konis run around $600 and you can buy Ground Controls directly from them for $399.00
