i was at school...i come back from class...and my s2k is no antenna-less....it really just ticks me off...why would anyone steal a friggen antenna... i could be an @sshole and jsut go steal one of another s2000 but why...thats so stupid...im pretty sure its not another s2000 owner cause i think im the only in the parkin lot...i jsut really wish i would of been outside when it happened...that would of been great....but i mean honestly who steals something so cheap...well on my old car i had emblems stole and im sure many of you have before too...i have a black chrome emblem in the back so atleast they didnt take that....does anyone know how much a replacement is? im assuming around like 15-20 bucks right? some people in this world!!! wow im pissed.

yea happened to me twice. I just take my antenna off if I know i'm gonna be in a place for awhile. People steal them to use it as a mod on there celica's and integra's. Well thats what i've seen our antenna being used for.

 

yeah, them pesky celica owners use em, looks good on a celica though hehe.

 

Yeah what can you do about beside taking it with you. I always take it out and just leave it in my trunk.

 

Some people use lock-tite. Or you can just take it off at locations you cannot see your car.

 

I had mine stolen a couple of months ago. Whenever I am going to be in an area where young guys hang out, I take it off. Places like malls, college areas, clubs, and Wal Mart.

 

Mine was stolen as well. I bought a replacement, but only put it on for long trips. The rest of the time, it stays in the trunk and I listen to CDs.

 

never had mine stolen (knock on wood) but after seeing all these stories on s2ki, i always unscrew mine when i park my car anywhere other than my garage.

 

The ones that steal our antennas the most are Celica owners. I recently got my antenna stolen. So now, everytime I see a Celica with an S2K antenna, I steal it back! I figure that they stole them from some S2k owner so now I'm getting my revenge! I now have 15 extra antennas for my car. Now I could care less if it got stolen again!
